Welcome @ash90!
I believe it will be launched in Singapore soon.
Hong Kong has just got their Pokemon Launch this morning.
Hopefully, we can get it within this week too.
Pokemon Go has raised some concerns with players getting too absorbed in the game and neglecting their surrounding and trespassing into private properties.
Seems like with so much attention the game is getting, the Singapore government will be monitoring the impacts of Pokemon Go.

In response to this news, Razer Inc's CEO has criticised the government's decision and states that excessive censoring and control over video games will impede cultivating creativity in the country.
Meanwhile, other Singaporeans have also voiced their concern over the Pokemon Go game.

Among the players of Pokemon Go, there is a group of software developers who have reverse engineered part of how the game app communicates with the servers.
Using these information, they are able to develop applications to visualize actual pokemon locations around the world.
However do take note that using such programs is against the TOS of the Pokemon Go and might get your account banned.
One such site is PokeVision. They allow users to scan for nearby pokemons every 30 seconds. Pokemons that are found have a timer associated with them to indicate the time until they de-spawn.
Another application requires manual installation. https://github.com/AHAAAAAAA/PokemonGo-Map
Installing and running this map requires a bit more IT knowledge but they provide a written guide on how to install and run.
Alternatively, there's also a video guide for those who needs it.
To see more such community software developments, you can head over to https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemongodev/ where most of such devs reside.
Other than the applications listed above that directly grabs data from the Pokemon Go server, there are also players contributed maps like http://www.pokemonradargo.com/ where players submit pokemon sightings into the site so other players can make use of those information.
Prior to the development of Pokemon Go, the company that made Pokemon Go developed a similar location based augmented reality game named Ingress.
The Pokemon Gym and Poke-Stops location are based on data gathered by players playing Ingress in the past.
Therefore it is possible to use Ingress to find key locations in Pokemon Go.
Using Ingress App to Gather Information
Download the Ingress App.
Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nianticproject.ingress&referrer=utm_source%3Dingress%26utm_medium%3Dwebsite%26utm_campaign%3Ddownload
iOS - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ingress/id576505181?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4
Launch the app and follow the instructions to setup your account. After setting up the account the app will detect your location and send you to a map view of the Ingress universe.
From the Ingress app, you can see glowing dots that they call the XM. The glowing dots are very likely pokemon spawn locations in Pokemon Go.
For Pokemon Gyms and PokeStops, they are the portal equivalent in Ingress. Ingress provided a useful tool for players to discover portal locations around the world without traveling to them.
You can use it here at https://www.ingress.com/intel. Search for the location in top right hand location and you will be able to see all the portals in the surrounding area.
